I'm still deciding how many acorns to use for the raffle. Whistling Good thing there is a longer time before the deadline. Hurray!

Oh Marilyn, I sure can't help to advise anyone how many acorns to use for the NARR. I have used more than 25 acorns and not won anything. Hilarious! I tried using a single acorn and...didn't win anything. Hilarious!
There was one time that I did win; I remember, must have been about a year ago...I gave up the 'real' prize and opted for the acorn prize. Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing

Good luck to everyone in the NARR. Hurray!

For the raffles, I've had anywhere between 800 tickets and 1 ticket with no wins, so good thing there's more time before the deadline to decide and enter. Smiling

Hey, I just thought of something.
Here...this is me doing some thinking...:blinking: Confused Glare Sticking tongue out Shrug!

Is there (or could there be) a little counter, clock, gauge or something to show us how many NARR tickets have been 'purchased'? I'd kind of like to watch the number as it grows. Thumbs up

The not a raffle is so much fun because it doesn't matter if you purchase one ticket, ten tickets or one hundred tickets. If I understand correctly, each name is entered in the contest only once for the purchase so the outcome depends on how many names there are in the "computer pot" to draw from. Everyone has the same chance for a fabulous prize from the generous sponsors/vendors! Lovey dubby

Every ticket is a chance to win.

If 1,000 tickets are bought total, and you bought 100 of them, then you have a 10% chance of winning first place (and then another chance to win second place, and so forth.)

And presumably, any one person can win only one prize in any raffle (?), so once that gal with the 800 tickets wins a prize, the odds get better for the rest of the contestants Big Grin
