Garden envy! You have a lot of space, Sandi. I only that that once when I lived in Oklahoma. In Phoenix, no one has a lot of land unless they got the big bucks or have lived in their home forever.

All that to say, your art is wonderful! the rock fish cracked me up...and the spring garden I will copy one day. Liked the Garden Diva on the other rocks...the mermaid, the .... alll of it! Thanks for sharing!

Love the springs and rock fish Sandi! I am keeping an eye out for a fixture to do the solar in. I remember seeing fishies. So many ideas so little time and energy.

Thanks Becky, but I have a normal small subdivision yard. The Garden Diva rock was made by Black raven, I believe, and given to me at the Houston swap last year. Bruce copied the rock fish from a too large one we saw at a nursery. Mermaid came from one of many trips to Laredo. Wonder if we'll ever get to go back there safely again.

Vic, the snake is to keep a blasted Cardinal from pecking that mirror all day long! And just the other night a raccoon chopped the snake's tail off. I guess he thought he was "food." I'm growing weary of the wildlife. Not my wild life, but the critter wildlife.

Sheila, I'm not too excited about the little solar lights. I have a chandelier in my garden. I usually had candles on it, but with the intense heat, the candles would droop. Decided to use the solar lights and they were great for a few months, gradually faded out. Now there's two lit up. Maybe with more expensive lights they would look better and last longer.

(I hope you all realize I'm sitting here trying to write an article and can't get motivated to go back to it. I consider all of you enablers. I keep posting photos and hoping the article writes itself.)

Don't know whether to laugh or cry at the stupid raccoon eating the snake's tail.

True Story - on one of the Cubits, I read where someone put artificial flowers in her yard because the deer were eating the real ones and the deer ate the fake flowers too because she saw in the woods where they had regurgitated them Blinking Blinking Rolling on the floor laughing

Thanks for telling me about the solar light fading issue. I think that I may have too much shade in the areas that I would want to hang it anyway I am thinking.

I'm sure there are probably better lights than the ones I bought. I didn't expect them to last longer than the season anyway. I think I'm going back to candles, but use the little votive holders that have a rubber bottom that will fit into the candle holder of the chandelier. Then I can empty the rain Confused out of them.

Hilarious! Reminds me of the sign I found last month at Michael's. It's hidden right now - a 'gift' for my DH - and I can't remember exactly what it said but something like this: I didn't say you were wrong, I just have better ideas Rolling on the floor laughing

Sandi, I forgot to come back and comment on your gardens! *Blush* Glass faces on the fence are wonderful and I really like the mermaid and rock fish too! I thought I was the only one with a cardinal who pecks at the window - ALL DAY LONG! Great idea...I should pick up one of those rubber snakes and try it! I tip my hat to you.

Hmmm, I like that sign you found. I may have to go to Michael's here and look for one 9maybe get DD to copy it instead).

The faces are from a glass factory in Monterrey, Mexico. My neighbor gave them to me for drapes I lent her and she wanted to keep. I had forgotten about the drapes, but certainly wouldn't pass up the faces! We didn't set the lights up for them this summer. It's been too hot to use the backyard, so no reason to light it up yet. I hope we have a few cool evenings in October. Believe me, the snake works.
