We have Flood warnings , lot of rain still , a few of the past several years are making this area like a Cold Rain Forest ,
49 and rain ,
In 2009 , 50 degrees daytime all thru February ,rained everyday ,. warm and rainy to the extremes for here ,, looking similar this year ,
Nice chat and pictures people .

In the Butterfly garden if a plant is not chewed up I feel like a failure

It turned out to be a beautiful day here, partly cloudy and (only) 76F as of this moment.

I went out to the Everything Else greenhouse with plans to mount several staghorn ferns. Even with three fans going and two doors open, that greenhouse was 85F and the humidity was 85% (down from 100% early AM). After a couple of minutes, getting soaking wet from perspiration, I gave up. Perhaps later in the afternoon will work. I am getting downright "sorry" in old age.

We are supposed to get 3 - 5 inches of snow Monday.

Regrettably, I wasn't able to stop to get a photo of this... but I went into town earlier today and as I drove home along the bay I saw someone "kite surfing" ! (I think that's what it's called -- like wind surfing, but with a big kite instead of a sail on the surfboard.) On December 26th!! I think I may have seen everything now

I'm not sure what's gonna happen here yet. I'm literally in between the two storms that are coming up together and they show some snow, some mix and some rain. Rain south and snow north and anything possible here.
