When I was a kid I'd feed them unshelled peanuts, they'd come up and grab them right out of my hand. It was pretty cool.
Guess I better teach mine to eat more peanuts, not tomatoes, eh?

They love corn too ... so if you find ears of corn missing or partially eaten it might be one of those furry critters! I know some folks really hate squirrels ... a guy that works with my husband used to shoot and kill them! As pesty as they are, they are still one of earth's creatures and I couldn't kill one.

We raised corn last year and it was funny watching them climb the corn and get on top to try to knock the corn off. Those squirrels can run. Our garden is fenced in to keep my Longears out and you know they had fun, getting in and out...Poor little varmits.

Hard to really appreciate what pests squirrels can be until they start finding their way into your house... and yes, I have killed one or two in my time... but mostly I just live and let live (and buy more sunflower seed to go around for the birds, squirrels and chipmunks). Much less work and aggravation than trying to get rid of them! The course where we golf is pretty much overrun with squirrels and from what I could tell today the sand traps looked like they've been burying their nuts and stuff in them for the winter; great, trees growing in the sand traps, that's all i need!

I am having a hard time getting them organized correctly. I have dragged and dropped them into the order I wanted and they won't stay where I put them. I wanted the tree, moderator and Calif state at the beginning of the first row but noticed it placed them into the second row. So I tried to arrange them at the bottom of the organizing list thinking it would put them at the beginning, but they are all mixed again.

Oh, I didn't realize we could organize the badges to our liking ... fun!

Oh, my goodness, he just keeps adding more. I wonder if I'll run out of room???

I noticed that this is happening to me, too. I will soon be looking into why that part isn't working.
