I'm surprised you haven't gotten any responses yet. Although, I'm not finding much with respect to Iris nurseries in your area, either. There is a link that contains some recommendations for irises in MN, from the University of MN here: http://www.extension.umn.edu/garden/yard-garden/flowers/Iris...
And if you scroll down to the section on Buying Irises, there is a phone number to call for help locating local societies or finding specific cultivars.
However, if you are looking at buying online, does it really matter if the vendor is close by?
Confidence is that feeling you have right before you do something really stupid.

Since you asked for mail order vendors, do they really have to be in your area?

Here is a thread in the iris forum with many recommended vendors:
The thread "Vendor list" in Irises forum

I didn't see http://www.bluejiris.com/ on the list yet but they have an extensive selection, reasonable prices and are in NE.
