If any of you ATP'ers happen to grow "Jean Guymer' (Zurbrigg '77), and would have a piece to spare....I'll trade, buy, or pay postage. Mine bloomed for the first time this year......wrong ! There is at least one , in commerce that "isn't correct", it should be a pink self...........Thank You

I have been adding Bluebird Haven Iris Gardens images and just happened to be on the J' s so I added their image to the entry.

It looks correct so at least you have that option if you can't find anyone here. Although maybe @MargieNY has enough?

Thanks! I checked wit Mary, at Bluebird, and she can't supply it, this year. Another year wouldn't kill me ,I guess, but the sooner they're in the ground, the sooner you see them bloom........and that's what it's all about, I guess

Mary emailed me today about several mismarked varieties at her place, Bluebird Haven, so be careful about image use: Bronze Beauty, Diadem, Sunset Serenade are wrong. Her Paulette died out, another goner due to the weird weather pattern.

Thanks Dave, she did tell me there were several errors, I have been checking them against other images where I can. I just deleted Diadem.

I hate to hear that about Sunset Serenade(or , any of them ,really !), as I was hoping the "verify" one of my Mother's iris....She always SAID it was "SS", and it LOOKS like "SS", but I wanted to "grow" one for comparison.
This also begs the question, in many cases, just WHICH one is the "imposter" ? The farther back in time you go, the muddier the water becomes !

Same for me with Bronze Beauty. Mine is questionable and now both sellers of it are questionable as to id.
