I love the little sunny blooms of Stella!! Can't wait to get my flower beds put in so I can enjoy them in my yard. Lovey dubby
I hate losing plants....I know they are "just plants" but when you nurse them along and baby them and get them to grow, bloom, and be pretty and they die....it's like losing a friend..... Crying

At a place where I used to work they had some yellow daylilies that bloomed all year. (They were not Stella d'Oro.) The building was for sale and was going to be torn down so I decided I would steal a daylily while I was waiting for my husband to pick me up at the end of the day. I tried to dig it out with my spoon but the soil was too hard. Thus ended my little life of crime. Hilarious! (I do have a jade plant grown from a cutting, an agave grown from a pup, and Virginia creeper grown from cuttings that I took at work. I also tried to grow dietes and pineapple guava from seed with no success.)

You remind me of my Mother, Kelli!! She would see someone digging up something or bulldozing or out in the garden and she would stop and ask for whatever she saw.... half her flowers were "roadside pickups" and many were "leftovers" from when she saw someone in their garden working!!

She believed flowers should be shared...and she did her share of sharing too! Lovey dubby
