This damselfly's favourite perch is the tip of my pink water lily. It lives by my pond where it catches its prey and lives on them.

Wooo, the reaction from all of you my dear friends via likes and acorns, will make my night pleasing and will make my tomorrow. I'm seeing this at dinner time Sunday here. My profound thanks to one and all for the generous applause. I think this picture was taken by my daughter's Canon DSLR.

This damselfly is very slender. There is one smaller than this and it is not easy to even spot it when it is flying, leave alone perching. I'm glad this has come off so well and I was able to crop it to the stipulated size as well.
