I'm in a quandry, trying to determine how to describe the edges on a couple of my daylily cultivars.

What is the difference between "bubbly", "braided", "ruffled"/"heavily ruffled", "knobs", etc.?

Unfortunately, AHS wasn't much help. The best I could get there was this: http://www.daylilies.org/ahs_d... , which simply shows a picture demonstrating 4 different edge characteristics. It doesn't describe the difference between any of them.
