Dave, would you please consider a perennials forum?

I realize there is a Cottage Gardening forum. But many people grow perennials that do not consider their gardens Cottage Gardens. It is sort of like saying if you want to discuss growing petunias, take it to the container forum. No, you would first take your question to the annuals forum.

There are so many unusual perennials available to gardeners these days, I think a "general" forum would be an asset to the site.

I did find another thread where there was a comment about not wanting us to be spread to thin.

As a long time perennial gardener, I was not understanding why there is an annual forum, but not a perennial forum. Perhaps there was not a cubit that converted over easily?

Still, I do think that would be a great forum to add.

I grow a handful of tomatoes, have grown a lot of daylilies. I grow a couple pots of annuals. But in my years of gardening, I have grown a LOT of different perennials. They are the garden here... What everything else revolves around. From little dianthus to huge hardy hibiscus.

I would enjoy a perennial forum too. When forums are being added again, I hope that perennials will be one of them.

When you're ready to add forums, "Perennials" would be one I'm interested in.

Also "Composting and Improving Soil".
