Maybe this will be the inspiration I need to get started on my mosaic bowling ball. Whistling I followed the threads on DG with every intention to make one but then couldn't find a bowling ball. Grumbling Barb (DaylilyDiva) was so sweet, Lovey dubby she had several and gave me one this spring and it's still waiting in my workshop. I just can't figure out what design I want to use for it! Rolling my eyes.

I have a couple small wooden balls too just no idea where they are. A lot of times I go through some stash and have found things I forgot I had. I know I saw that balls a while back, not to start my search. Confused

first one will be using the basketball idea, i think. that would work for soccer balls, too. and i bet my sister can find one or two in her yard. if the dog didn't eat them all.

OH thank you for the link Becky. The more I see those bowling balls, the more I want to make one of each. I wonder what they used for the antenna's? And the bubble bee wings?

Darn you Becky!! I just spent over an hour visiting numerous sites from the link you posted! I finally gave up on Page 21, too many ideas! Rolling my eyes. Hilarious!

Debbie, here you go. One of the links I clicked on was a "How To" for the bumble bee. I tip my hat to you. http://www.birdsandblooms.com/... Now let's see how many "insect" balls we'll see in the August Challenge. Big Grin

Charleen, I googled your question and the answer was that if it's something for the garden Thumbs up yes, you can.

Another post said they are fragile and can split in two so be careful. Blinking
