Boxergirl said:tom, im going to have to invest in the marring kind! that is amazing!!!! I love the watercolors also, and I plan to add that to my collection down the line especially since I have 2 grandmother and a grandfather that were amazing watercolor artists.

It is one nice one, but I'd hurry before they're sold out. I think there are some amazing new introductions this year by all of the Hybridizers I only wish I could buy them all! Whistling

I am an iris newbie so this spring I had my first blooms. My two favorites were Coffee Trader and Reckless Abandon.

I will be looking forward to bloom next year because I received SILK ROAD and LOUISA'S SONG, along with CROWNED HEADS AND GRAND CANYON SUNSET.

Gosh this is tough! I only purchased 6 new ones this year from a couple of club sales, but got some awesome ones. Of those I'm so hyped to see Don't Stop Believing!

Those purchased were a mere drop in the bucket though- awesome, generous ATP enablers set me up with loads of newbies!
Of the rhizomes Bonnie shared, I'm most excited to see Ballerina Girl.

And of the amazing bunch from Tom I'm super excited to see Beacon of Light!

Being a huge fan of historics and IBs too, I'm looking very forward to seeing Fantastic Blue from Arlyn!

Then there was the huge surprise box from Brad- tough to even choose among those! I think Center Line is the one from that bunch I'm most stoked about. Thomas Johnson I think is my favorite hybridizer- so often I find myself drawn to his creations without even knowing who developed it.

Been wanting Paul Black for some time, and received a beautiful fat rhizome of that one (among several others) from Rob. You can't call this just a purple iris!

I have to share these because they have only been in the, ground 2 weeks!!!! They are from schreiders, and Iris sisters. I think they are super happy in their new home. The one on the bottom I figured I was going to loose because it was covered with rot and mold when I received it. I did some major surgery on it, soaked it in bleach, dried it out and had to cut the fans off completely because they were mush ( this one DID NOT come from Iris sisters to be clear!)

Excellent new growth and recovery Jen! Can hardly tell that last one had any issues.

Edited above- Rob sent me Paul Black among a bunch of gorgeous rhizomes. I should know better than to post after a few beers, LOL!

Debra, have you planted new irises this summer? By Jeeves is gorgeous- its another I'm anticipating seeing bloom!

I have, Neal. A LOT of them. Hilarious! There are so many I am dancing up and down excited about seeing bloom--like Dancing Bunnies and Chinese Empress and Cantina and Cherry Smoke--I shouldn't list them here. But probably the ones I am most excited about are some Biancos I just got from Dee.
