I have grown Siloam Double Classic for only a couple of years. It is dependable, blooms early for me and then reblooms later in the season. The flowers are a nice neat little double and have a pretty color. For those who love mini daylilies, this one should be in your garden. It's a classic.

This plant has done well in my garden. It sends up loads of scapes and makes lots of buds, but it is so short and the foliage is so low that it just does not appeal to me anymore. Here is a photo of it in my garden today. Just not very attractive as a total plant. Maybe I need to divide it and make a border somewhere with the divisions?

Here's another old plant for me. It's been by my back stairs for many years. It's just such a pretty bloom and the plant is small but sturdy. A great front of the border plant. I'll pay more attention to the bloom time next summer but I think it's an EM for me. Not that prolific with the buds but I think the plant might be too crowded. I'll try to fix that.

Update 2021,

This year Siloam Double Classic began blooming June 26 and ended on July 17th. It started off with single blooms ( or mostly single) for three days after which it was consistently double until the last bloom, which singled again.

The color varies a little with temperature moving from pink to peach to pale peach. I like them all, the blooms are always perfect.

2022…Siloam Double Classic is continuing at clump strength here. It had a long, strong season, blooming from June 24- July 14. It's one of my earliest bloomers, so truly appreciated as the harbinger of things to come. I had tons of flowers, all perfect. I only had one single bloom this year, the second day of flowering. This plant never has a bad hair day.

2023, more of the same. The plant is a nice tight clump that blooms very early. This year it bloomed from June-20 to July 9 with at least 40 blooms
