to all those who have wished me for my birthday which was on 29th. This banner had come on 28th.. and..
I was out of town for almost a week [Natalie's guess was right]... was not on the internet from 29th. So I was cut off from all the action here as well as my mail inbox outside. Am slowly catching up. There is plenty of power outages in the past one month due to failure of monsoon and no water to drive the generators.
I am very pleased this banner brought joy to so many. I did not expect such a response at all, but this was one of the best images I took near my pond. It was with our new Canon 550d. I was waiting for the bee to come there as it does often in their own times. I don't click in the 'mode' and this is what gives me more joy when I see such results myself. I was about 6-7 feet from the flower, using the 250 lens I think. I wanted to post the full image of this banner. Looked for it, but did not find. It is definitely in some folder. I'll get it.
Returned home and still recovering from a stomach upset. I read the replies on Saturday evening but power interruption took me away from the computer. Sunday took my time cleaning the materials in the showcase - I had removed 15 days ago and found no time to attend to it. This response comes from my workplace to where I have returned after a week. I thought of responding before I look at my desk for the papers to attend to...
