They are just so darn graceful, aren't they?

I love the way they bob in the breeze. And, sadly, they're one of the few kinds of lilies that do well for me here. So I'd better stock up this fall.

I see now that there are martagon pix in another thread in another forum. I'll get the hang of this!

Yep, it's exact! It has established nicely too. Had to grab that first blossom and get a picture.

Amelita from Ramona. I received one bulb from her the fall of 2005, and this is what it has become. And It goes to seed every year, too, as I use it heavily as a hybridizing pod parent. Great foliage.

I found a number of Martagons at S-W Gardens in Canada. Think maybe that is the place you mentioned once Moby?

Not only is Amelita beautiful, but my daughter's name is Amelia, and I feel I have to have it. Will be looking for it. I don't remember seeing it on Ramona's site last time I checked, but will check again right now. It's certainly happy at your house Rick!

What a beautiful shot. The coloration is very similar to 'Moonyeen'
