My Claude Shride martagons are blooming in full force now. Not even a hint of any spots on them this year. (Actually, I like that better.) Also, the light coloring on the petal backs' midribs are more prominent then ever. I'll bet it had something to do with tht 101 F day we had: I swear, my lilies grew FASTER than my BAMBOO!!!

This clump really needs to be divided...

What a nice stand of Claudes you have there. Hopefully I will have some marts to post tomorrow too. They really are spectacular lilies.

Here is my L. hansonii Having received a soft, mushy-like bulb, it has done remarkably week.

Here is one that was a bit shorter than expected. Here is a pink martagon seedling from Art Evans I believe.

Here's 'Claude Shride' at my house. The deer at some of the growth as it was just coming up, but it wasn't the part yet that carried the blossoms. I was very lucky!

And another martagon grown from seed from the NARGS seed ex. Simply listed as "L. martagon seed", I really got lucky!

So far, it's as good as any named cultivar, IMO.
