Though I loved the plant, and still do, it does become massive. Clearly, I didn't have sufficient room for it to show off!

Except for a couple of years, I've grown it in large (20 inches or larger) containers.

Good idea. I quit most container gardening a few years ago but it would be stunning.

The buds on this year's plant started showing a few days ago, so it won't be long for flowers!

Wow!! Great pictures. This is one I may have to try next year, haven't had it yet- the list for next year is growing and growing.....

Flowers By The Sea offers it and that's where I get mine at (as well as most if not all my Salvias and other plants FBTS offers). One of my hubby, Dean's favorites and I love it too! As of today, I'm still waiting for the flowers to bloom, but I already have buds. It is growing in a 20 inch container, but I've grown it before in the ground.
