I really like these wild New England Asters, big time aviator attractors in the fall.

Well, maybe I jumped to a conclusion on the cause and effect with the powdery mildew and the disaster with the asters.
Both things happened but that doesn't necessarily mean the first thing caused the second thing.....

oooh yeah, colored pollen! blue is my favorite but I don't have a pic of that findable right now...

The thing I like about stalking bees is that they cooperate so well because they are so busy working they don't care about some human taking pictures...they just do what they do. Butterflies and hummers, on the other hand, run away from me so I usually get frustrated and go back to taking pictures of that which is still in front of my face...the busy bees

Wow I've never seen colored pollen on bees, or at least I never noticed...will be looking closer for sure! Great pics Dirt and J!

I read that in JaggerBowie voices. And just laughed.

And along those same lines, so many people recommended the book, Confederacy of Dunces to me. And I just hated it. Couldn't get through it... UNTIL..I started reading it in my head using the Comic Book Guy voice from the Simpsons. That really worked ;).
