Grapus, I just read about the SMØR shortage there. The newspaper said that a website sells it (or is trying to sell it) for $100 a pound!

Is it really that bad?

Isn't that funny? yes, the stores have run out of butter(smør in norwegian). The reason is that there are a new type of diet where you can eat everything that don't contain sugar or carbohydrates. But it's good for you to eat fat in every form. Many experts warn about it and say that's not good for the body to be on that kind of diet. But it's a very popular diet, about 6 months old. I have never heard about any websites that sell butter expensive, that's just a rumour.

I do love the taste of butter--Cheddar cheese and Vegemite, in a sandwich for 40 secs in the microwave--instant rush!!!!

So what does Vegemite taste like, exactly? And don't just say there's nothing comparable, give me an idea. I remember the song Land Down Under. Do you know that one Anthony?

Probably living happily 'down under' where it doesn't get -20 with 6 feet of snow.

Vegemite tastes like, whats in the bottom of the roasting tray, when you slow/well cook[with just the right amount of darkness] a lamb or beef roast,.,.that unmistakable 'wow' taste,you know, a nice glazed/ charred leg roast,.,.but you have to know what your tastebuds can handle[with vegemite]it is an aquired taste,.,.mixes well with lettuce, cheese even salami,.,.Australian Crawl Sung 'Downunder'-they were recently sued and ordered to pay up to 'The Girl Guides'- for skimming the 'Pan Flute' verses,in the Downunder song, from an old Aussie Rhyme.[copyrite]

On the subject of Australian music...Anthony, do you know of any good blues groups out of your land?

The occasional blues singer/band comes and goes- maybe not the most popular music about,.,.but with the revival of rockabilly- many new bands have popped up[and some good ones too]---I own a 57 Inter pick up/rod/lily hauler and a workmates wife runs a custom culture clothing and gifts shop, so i have been involved somewhat in this area
