That's Egyptian Queen. Almost like Wild Horses except the base color is more peach than yellow. Or the other way around. Can't remember. Blooms for a very long time, but no rebloom for me.

Conca d'Or is such a rock in the garden, isn't it?

I realize I need more whites. If there only was a light blue lily my dreams would be answered.
Between the yellow lilies and DayLilies I am over run with the color. I need a nice neutral color for companions .

I think some of the whites seem to pick up a blue look if they are next to blue flowers. So consider planting some white lilies next to a nice blue something?

Satisfaction is lovely, even sun bleached.

My Boogie Woogie started blooming last week...
We've had temps in the 90's and no rain..and it was hard trying to keep them watered as the ground seemed to dry up really quick........The blooms we're without their Pink

Then we got two good rains one lasted over 8 hours...the other over 3...it cooled off a little but still in the 80's
and this is the second to last bud to bloom....it opened today and by tonight was showing some signs of color..
I think at the critical time of the buds forming it needs lots of water...I do think the heat plays a part...
but more so the water issue..the last bud looks a bit more pinker..we'll see when it opens...

Color is returning to Satisfaction blooms that opened after temps went to mid 80's.Top blooms on the stalk are rearer normal.

That's beautiful, Jo. They almost looked like two diffferent cultivars. And I liked the lighter version too. Both were actually lovely.

They bloom a long time normaly.
The coloe when going out of bloom turns a brown and not attractive at all. I try to deadhead as soon as they go.

This is Shocking,nearly 7 feet tall. It must like it there. The other 2 bulbs are not as tall.

no,only seed.i have a 'small quantities seed import approval certificate' issued to me by quarentine,because of my heavy involvment in seed liliums for show,,..i only have a small place,but have about 2000 seedlings and 400 pots in various stages of growth[i just cant stop]!-anthony
