I would wait until late September or October if you possibly could. They are in the process right now of energizing the bulb for next year's flowers.

Tracey, of course they are all lovely, but you really cannot post Rosselini too often!

Here is a bloom of 'Starburst' that I took off to compare to 'Arena'. Arena seems to have a smaller bloom, but I have had it for years and I am guessing a smaller bulb than what I bought this spring. The markings and petal form *seem* identical, but since I am not a chemist, and did not look into chromosomes on each, I will state here that they are mighty similar. Lovely indeed.

I'll post this one in the seedlings area too, but this is first bloom on 2007 seed from pard. I'm enjoying having some more flowers on seedlings this year. It sort of creates a different sort of excitement level to lily season. I look forward to first flowers from seedlings more than anything else.

Mags, thanks so much for sharing the American West seedlings! It looks like I was right in my prediction that they would not look like American West. That last one almost looks like it glows!

The seedling is beautiful. Rosselini is going on my list. My White Henyri are blooming well, but floppy. Last year I blamed the floppiness on needing divided, so divided them last fall. Still floppy. Will have to remember to stake them all next year.

Haceinda is so short this year I almost missed it. Going to be a looker in another year or so.

It is very, very pretty pard. You do good work. They took just enough from America West to give it a glow. I'm liking it a lot. Worth the wait.

America West x Apricot tetra trumpet. That's what my records say. I think there is a third one that hasn't bloomed, unless it's a split of one of the two.
