Victoria Blue is one of my favorite salvia farinacea's. Love the color and is easy to grow from plants.

I just bought mine last month to fill in where other plants didn't make it thru the August 100's. Is planted in amonst red hot lips salvia and yellow tickseed coreopsis. Is doing very well and filling in nicely. Love the pretty blue color, especially with the red and yellow around it.

I love this Salvia. While it does fold up and struggle in our droughts, it always comes back, is exceptionally easy to propagate from cuttings, and is a bee magnet.

Given to me as a small piece, it has returned year after year and formed a big clump, probably I can divide it into three. Very dependable long bloomer, unlike many perennials it blooms all summer long.

Thank you, Marilyn. That particular stand died from a necessary spraying (neglected tree saplings growing in and through it, no other way to get them out), but I had cuttings in pots and--thankfully--still have it around.

Easy success with this Salvia sort of started the ball rolling for me. It is just such a tough plant and yet so pretty. A winning combination.

Took these photographs yesterday of my two rooted cuttings in their pots:

@lovemyhouse Debra

Here's the link to add your pics to the database, if you would like. I don't think you added them.
