Well, I found out that the nun's did alot of lying to me.

Shocked the heck out of my 15 old self when I realized that I had been lied to for 10 yrs in Catholic School.

Yeah, sometimes it's like that. It can take a lot of years to un-learn all the things we've been told and taught. Then you're old enough to know you can decide upon your own truths.

You bet! My mother and grandmother were really ticked off with me when I stood up and said I was tried of being lied to and was going to find my own path. My grandmother disowned me and my mother would keep telling me that I was going to go to hell. She finally shut up when I told her that I did not believe in hell and that if there were such a place it was the life I had been living with an alcohalic mother. She didn't speak to me for sometime after that, which was OK by me. She preferred drinking to raising her kids, so we all depended on Daddy and he was a very good man and father.

Yep...I've yet to find anyone who had that 'fairy-tale' childhood. It's a wonder we're here at all.

I think our childhood's good, fair or bad make us who we are. I like to treat everybody the way I want to be treated, fairly and honestly. I occasionaly like to sit down to dinner and have a little something to drink. I don't drive if I've had even one small glass of wine and can't not understand the concept of going out on Friday night and getting plastered and "having fun". MY thoughts are if what you are planning to do for fun can only be done drunk, than it must not be fun to do in the first place. And I can't see doing anything that requires getting drunk first.

Well, the park gardener is busy tearing out the bushes around the trailer. One old lady down the way from us is unhappy and complained to the park manager and was told we can do what we want, so she is very unhappy with me. Oh Well!!! We have the estimate to put on a sunporch and so will have to wait to do the raised planter bed along the front porch until that is done. Mean while I will work on the area in the back and the driveway.

Work on any area that keeps you hidden from the "old lady down the way" from you.

Apparantly there is now area that she doesn't stick her nose in. She has taken to cutting thru between the trailers and commenting on the loss of the bushes we already took out and how terrible it looks. I've noticed she makes sure that the front door is open or I'm on the front porch when she walks thru and makes her comments. According to several people, she has lived here for a long time and does not like the fact that the park went from a senior park to a family park to begin with.

Well, they came out today and drove stakes in at the four corners of this lot. The lot is 65 long by49 wide. Once we get the porch closed in, I can begin building the planter bed down that side of the trailer. According to park rules it can be no taller than 24 inches. I have a 3 foot wide area to build it in, but have to leave a small path between the enclosed front porch and the planter box so that I can water along there and trim the mini-roses, daylilies and iris I plan to plant there.

This is one of my NOID mini-roses. I think it is lovely and cute.

It's very sweet. I love mini-roses.

One of my other mini's has not put on buds yet, but I like it because it has really tiny leaves.
I would sure like to know its name. Oh well, will wait until it blooms and maybe someone can help me.
