Hmmm, all lily seedlings that I have grown, except those that are hypogeal (martagon, tsingtauense, hansonii, distichum, most North American species) first come up with a thin, grass-like cotyledon, not a fatter true leaf as their first leaf. Considering that your one came up immediate without first going through a winter makes it even more unfathomable. Of course, it's way too early for any real conclusions.
Any chance of a pic?

Another hmmmm...
At a glance, it sure looks like a martagon section lily. But if it is only a 2 year old seedling then you are a horticultural wizard, Anthony. These lilies don't normally show above ground until their second season (and then only a single leaf), and I have never seen a young seedling with a whorl of leaves and a leaf or two extra below on the same stem. (I've only observed that on mature plants.) It's a little hard to tell: is that a whorl of 4 leaves at the top?
Only 0-3% of martagon seeds will send a leaf up the first year, could you be that luck that lucky? Possibly. But I would still have to cling to my deep admiration of your magically large growth for even a second season of leaf growth on a martagon type lily.
Still, it is definitely not asiatic. But all the facts just don't add up to a definite identity. It is certainly an anomaly to be excited about!

I knew i wasn't bonkers mate[close maybe] thanks for your opinion,.,.last year i actually got a flower[from this asiatic mix] of some sort of regale cross,[but very small] .This year there will be many flowers,.,and all are unknown,.,.the ones in pots that are north facing seem to be the most advanced,..,i suppose time will tell, and we all have lots of that
