Hmmm, all lily seedlings that I have grown, except those that are hypogeal (martagon, tsingtauense, hansonii,distichum, most North American species) first come up with a thin, grass-like cotyledon, not a fatter true leaf as their first leaf. Considering that your one came up immediate without first going through a winter makes it even more unfathomable. Of course, it's way too early for any real conclusions.
