** Like Stephanotis, Star Jasmine is not a true jasmine either but a member of the Trachelospermum genus. True Jasmines are in the genus Jasminum

Sadly, the Stephanotis genus no longer exists. All of its species have been reclassified as Marsdenia or Jasminanthes. Stephanotis floribunda is now Marsdenia floribunda.
Madagascar Jasmine (Marsdenia floribunda 'Variegata')

I water once in Jan maybe Feb then April when I see things growing and looking like they are going to die if they do not see some water. May they go outside and get their water.
