The ibervillea has leafed out and produced miniature cucumber vines all over the place. It's a cucurbit. Adorable!

Euphorbia hedyotoides

@karmatree Kate I love your plants Smiling It is great seeing more caudiciforms on here. Post more photos, please.

That's good size Ibervillea you have there. I tip my hat to you.

The caudex forming plants are my favorites and I enjoy looking at what others are growing.

I'll try to take photos as I bring my plants inside for winter Smiling

All my succulents besides my Aloinopsis and Titanopsis seedlings are either caudiciforms or pachycauls. My favorite caudiciforms are pacypodiums and my favorite pachycauls are my tree aloes.

Here are some pics.

Back in January we had a 4 hour frost and, when all was said & done I lost 13 plants. It took some plants days, and others months. Oh so painful :>( !!!

Here's my favorite caudiciform - Pseudobombax ellipticum. After 40 years, about 3 feet tall. My daughter named it 'Faux Bob'.

I gave away some of my plants to silm down my collection because I'm moving to hot springs. But this has also made them easier to take care of.

Also most of my babies have leafed out. Hurray!

I don't do much with it - the only water it gets are splashes and drift from other plants. Smiling
