(09-42B) jumped out at me and (12-52H) is just a pure lovely iris. Maybe because it has been so cloudy this spring but those two are just sunny irises.
Thro' all the tumult and the strife I hear the music ringing; It finds an echo in my soul— How can I keep from singing?
I'm glad you guys found some you liked in the yellow seedlings there is a lot of good one's to choose from in his garden. The one that really stood out to me was (10-99D) now named Idle Rich.. I remember walking up on it blooming and thinking WOW!! what a color it definitely caught my attention in the garden and the clump of it was just great it was a mass of bloom :green grin: and had everything I wanted in a plant. I took a picture of the tag and noticed it was a 2010 and thought well it might be a few more years if it makes the cut most plants go through a lengthy process to get a name in his garden ..Was excited to see it get a name this year and make the cover of the catalog goes to show what a good grower it is. The sibs to it are equally impressive all of them unique and you could grow them side by side in the garden and have quite the show we get (Mood Ring) next year and I'm hoping 10-99A is next the Beards are talking to me Which one do you guys like ?
Another yellow I showed earlier and worth mentioning again it was Outstanding !! and he listed it as a possible for next year( 09-44A) one of the Haunted Heart Kids.. Im looking forward to it as well nothing else like it out there and perfect ruffled form it will fit in nicely with some of my projects
10-99 A and F are outstanding!!! And so is 09-44A. Then I went back and looked at all of them again... and want to add another then another to my favorites. Bottom line is all of them are outstanding, one of the best groupings you have posted.

Idle Rich is gorgeous, so is 44A (take it home any day). And I really like 99E, there is a subtle but compelling echo in the falls of the colour of the standards. Yummy!
One of my goals when I started pollen daubing was to come up with something colored like Barry Blyth's (Popstar) but with a more modern form to it with bubble ruffles It has been one of my favorite's here I am drawn to the Hot colors in the garden and when Popstar is in bloom you can pick it out from way across the garden there is really no other color like it and one of the plants I would describe as a must have for color impact. I have been crossing it to a number of different plants trying to get that color and it looks like I need to add Kieth's (Flame Amber) to the mix.
The past few years we have been drooling over one of Kieth's seedlings in that color range (07-155B) Flame Amber x (Game Plan x Safari Sunset) it is wonderful and one of our favorite's in his garden.. What a color and it looks like Kieth is working with it and the next generation is getting even better the blend of colors on the (11-94) plants is beautiful. What a Awesome color Hopefully one of them performs and we can enjoy it in our gardens. What do you guys think ? are any of these must haves..
(PopStar)
(Flame Amber)
(07-155B..Flame Amber X 01-95A)
(11-94A ..07-155B x Chianti Classic)
(11-94 E)
(11-94?)
(10-109A) Flame Amber X (Jazz Band x Safari Sunset)

These all have unique enough color and form to make each one a must have for any irisarian. What beauties! All of these have beard color similar to the bloom keeping the drama in the overall flower rather than contrasting colors. It would be fun to have these warm colors in my garden and to see them in the changing light throughout the day. Just lovely!
