Thanks Gigi, those baskets are hard to find now. Does anyone know where I can get some. I've only seen plastic and wooden slatted ones.

Welcome! to the new folks!

Well, we got outbid on the house we were wanting so it is back to searching. In the meantime we are continuing the projects here. The greenhouse is really doing well this year as the winter has not fully set in with heavy cold. We haven't fired up the RMH because it is just not cold enough. Right now a space heater is just fine keeping the GH at 59°F-60°F at night.

This is a poor photo, but it was chilly this morning and we wanted to get this back to the MBG. This is Vanda Wacharin (V. Yip Sum Wah x Sagarik Gold), an old hybrid from 1975. It has been rehabbing in my greenhouse. It went back to the Memphis Botanic Garden today in full bloom and free of fungal/bacterial infection. I am a proud parent.

What a good job you did with that Vanda, it is a beauty.

Sorry about the house, trying to buy one can be discouraging these days not to mention complicated.

Love the color on that Vanda...and great job restoring it, Melissa ! I tip my hat to you.
I'm sorry you did not get the house...it seems like the economy has sprung right back , at least as far as
real estate goes. Fingers crossed for you that another gem comes your way soon.

I grew approximately 2 dozen 'Royal Purple' from flask, grew them for 1-3 years, and never saw one bloom. They were all sold by the time they became "teen" plants. I would have loved to have seen those flowers. Good growing, Lindsey. Hurray!

I wish I could take some credit with these two.. Both were purchased in bud. One of my plants from foster care has bloomed. It came back without its tag... And doesn't match up with any of my records. Confused Confused

So I'm guessing that it's my sisters plant that got in the wrong car!

I just may have to spring for one of those "blues". I probably "need" more than two Vanda. Whistling

All stunning but that noid catt is lovely, the snowy white really contrasts well with the purple.

Oh, go ahead Ken, you know you need another orchid. Hilarious!
