The hex that Dave posted was one that our #2 made to replace one that got broke. Dave then had the idea to replace our brick walkway (that he made) with home-made hexes from the 6 of us (the baby will have some in his name, but he's too young to participate). We think we'll do a batch or two every weekend until we have enough.

Well, Dave and Trish, if you need additional stones, just give a hollar and I'll be honored to add to your collection. I have some beautiful marbles that you could have....

I was thinking, Charleen-

This project is for our family- it's the door that we are in and out of 100 times per day...

But, it would be really cool to have some ATP friends stones throughout the garden one day!

One project at a time! And you can ask Boopaints...my projects are taking a long long time to get done these days. So many ideas, so little time!!

I'm late too but looks like you've received enough tips for the supplies. The selection at any of the dollar stores isn't as good as the craft stores but you can't beat the price! Thumbs up These aren't cheap but I thought I'd pass along the link anyway. This place sells glass stones and sand that glow in the dark! http://www.thegardenofglass.co...

Those are so cool! Since they are expensive you could just do the outer edge/outline in the glow stones. Could you imagine them in a garden pathway? Smiling Drooling

Not our Tiny Town Walmart. I checked at the beginning of the month when I was thinking of painting a solar system mural for the boy's room. Thumbs down
