The kids (young and old) will have fun with that project. Things like that will be around a long time and the family doing it together will be remembered even longer.

Yes, that's actually exactly what these will be like.

The hex that Dave posted was one that our #2 made to replace one that got broke. Dave then had the idea to replace our brick walkway (that he made) with home-made hexes from the 6 of us (the baby will have some in his name, but he's too young to participate). We think we'll do a batch or two every weekend until we have enough.

I hope you'll show us how it's looking from time to time. I love the one that #2 made. I love the way your family gets involved together.

Not cheap though! I can see you now, heading for the barn in the dark with "glowing" stepping stones to guide you!

Those are so cool! Since they are expensive you could just do the outer edge/outline in the glow stones. Could you imagine them in a garden pathway?

you can get glow in the dark spray paint at the craft store also .. or even walmart ..

I just saw some at WM today. It was glow paint in a can but I'm sure there was spray too.
