I'll do that. It'll be hard because I do most of the manual labor - mixing the concrete up, scooping it out and helping with the leveling of it. Maybe Trish will be willing to take the video or pictures and then I can make it into a tutorial.

Here's something we did for our sidewalk up to house. Forgive all the laid down flowers. We just received tons of rain - which I wish I could have re-routed to Texas.

The slate stones were left over from laying our foyer. When the grandchildren are here, we play hopscotch on it He laid the stone wall as well. The slate appears in the photo as if it is a different height than the concrete but it's not, it's level.

We live 3 hours apart so we don't get to see each other as often as we'd like but we email, text, phone. Hank was on the phone a couple weeks ago with Shoe but I didn't get a chance to talk to him as Hank was on cell and land line rang so......

Speaking of rocks, (not the ones in my head!), Vic mentioned playing hopscotch on her slate path when the grandkids were there. Hey, Dave, maybe ya'll could imbed in concrete a permanent hop scotch layout in your walkway using pretty stones and glass. A lot of kids play hopscotch growing, ya know!
