@Pippi, those fixtures don't look like T-5. Perhaps there are diffusers over the tubes, making identification impossible. The explanation of your fluorescent fixtures/shelves was well presented. Folks also need to understand that different fluorescent tubes produce completely different amounts of lumens and heat and the range of Kelvin in a particular fixture determines (to some extent) what grows best..
