The next time I order some seeds, I'll let everyone here know. Anucha's seeds cost $60 for 200, with 160some sprouted.

Cora, if you are on facebook, that's where you can find Anucha. He says he has lots of seeds. I'll have my first blooms from him on my plants-from-seeds in a week or two. Otherwise, I'll have to say Mr Ko, again. Write to him! Complain! He answers letters!

Sylvain, a gorgeous pink! That pot might look good with a heap of overflowing Wandering Jew. Or a trailing coleus. Or...

Another rain drenched double-- Wa!-

Also it will be interesting to see your pics -- pinks or fancy hybrid colors? Whistling I can see you dancing around your babies, good luck! Big Grin

Anucha is a he, a monk, actually. No selection, you just get a mix. No way to pick and choose. Join facebook just to get to him, and,,,ME!! If you do join facebook, don't put much personal info there, and don't let them get into your email address book.

www.facebook.com

My plants seem to take a year to bloom, tho' I did plant some in February that have buds, I've really pushed them with fertilizer. We-all decided it's best to not plant seeds in the fall and winter, they just don't seem to do as well.

Hi.

I have searched for Anucha on Face Book. It turns out that Anucha is not an uncommon name. Do you have a link to his facebook page, or another criteria I could use to pinpoint him in the masses of results generated by an Anucha search?

Thanks.
Sylvain.

One question keeps haunting me: what shall I do with 150 seedlings that are growing happily just a few feet away from me? There is no way I can ever have enough space for all those.

Also, I polinated quite a few flowers using the adeniumsindia.com's web site technique. If that works, it will only make matters worse. This place is rapidly turning into Adenium central. Oh, I know... there are worse things in this world than having to find homes for all those babies, but it is worrisome.

Take care, y'all.
Sylvain.

I am kinda excited my seed pod finally opened up I only got a total of 20 seeds 10 in each one but I'm not complaining this was a very young small plant and it only bloomed once before it put on a seed pod. This was not a plant that I tried to pollinate it just happened on its own. I know I said I wasn't going to try again to grow from seeds but Melissa has inspired me I think I know where I made my mistakes in the past I was using peat and the seeds started ok but died later so now that I see everyone is using a well draining soil I got to try again because this will be my first ever seeds from one of my own plants and I am not sure what the plant was because I messed up some of my tags and this one was missing but I do know it was one of my named plants so wish me luck.....Ron

I have only one seedling struggling along from my cross between Valentine Rose (double red) and Double Santa Claus.

And now I find the growers get from 10-20% double flowered seedlings from a cross of two doubles. Two of my 'all doubles' from Anucha have bloomed, both are single flowers. Owell! But they're nice blossoms. Photos in a day or two.

Luck to you, RonRucky!!

OK, went to the brand new Home Depot, opened this morning, and no perlite! boooo. Bought a papaya and a pot of purslane and an avocado tree. They had lots of plants and some that do not grow here, period. Such as concord grapes. Shame on them. And they had a big display of lovely Phalanopsis orchids,,,,, that had been dyed blue! Akkk, horrible!

Stopped by the local nursery and got the perlite, and checked their pot prices, 39 cents for a 4 inch pot. Wowee. They oughta be five cents!! said the old fogie. So I have another place to look for the little pots, I hope they have 150, hahahahahahaha. Yes, I oughta buy them online, but that's so tiring for me.

I'm not very good at using emoticons, hey?

Planted my seeds and I did an experiment I peeled the husks off of half and left half on to see if there is any difference I had a hard time with a couple of seedling getting the husk off the tiny thing once so I started peeling them before. I am curious as to the difference in the seedling. My graft looks like its doing good. I also have a Red Flabette hanging in the shed still I am going to let it hang at least another week.
