This has been a great swap!!! So many members for one of the first swaps on here and so many great seeds!!! There is a few more packets, I'm mauling over but I'm afraid to dib on to many and be a hog lol. I hope these swaps will continue and I definitely wanna join more in the future!! :)

Speaking for black poppies, I've had tried black peony poppies and they are striking addition to a garden! I grew mine in pots last year and I definitely will have to try them again in different spots of the garden!

Lisa, I worry so much about whether I can grow them out before they get old but I'm amazed at how long some seeds last! I was reading about seed saving/seed storage today and made a chart for myself! (Tho it says geum is best planted in 2 years, I've had an old 2012 pack, planted thickly last year and wound up with TONS of seedlings close together lol). The reason I actually read and took notes is I've been mauling over the idea to start a seed box for seeds I want to save for when I move out and have my own place (hopefully if all goes well, in 2 years)

I can't wait to winter sow some of these and share them in the future too! Smiling This year, I am behind in my winter sowing efforts, I only am up to 21 containers! lol (Last year I did 400+ lmao)

Deejay, I wasn't the one who offered up black poppies. sorry

I woke up this morning to check the status of the swap. I sold 264 packets of seeds. I still have a baggy full of seeds that no one claimed but there is still time. I'm happy to have sold that many, bits of my garden will be growing in gardens around the world. Smiling

A half inch to an inch of snow is coming here midday so everything is already closed in anticipation. What if the forecast is wrong? Rolling on the floor laughing
Anyway, I missed last nights festivities and just now scooped up a few more seeds. There are 1,136 tickets still out so if any of you ticket holders want to add a few to your bought column don't forget to do it by close of swap this evening, which is 7:00 eastern.
Once the swap is closed you will receive information on how to proceed and will be able to print out your packing slip.

That's it!! You should have your link to your packing slips and you can see what you have coming in your 'bought' items. I hope you all had fun.
There were 2,137 dibs claimed. There were a lot of unspent tickets and still quite a few seeds to select from.
Once you have your seeds packed and mailed please enter the tracking number in the provided field so that I will be able to verify shipping. As long as they make it by the deadline I do not have a preference for how you mail to me, but you must get Delivery Confirmation. There is often no more than a day or two between priority mail and first class shipping times. Remember, the return shipping fee is 6.00 for priority mail. If you have less than 100 packs coming back to you there is the option for you to send 3.80 for first class mail with delivery confirmation. I will return any excess with your seeds.

One last question-
I sort of assumed that the "$6 to join the swap" meant $6 to go to our intrepid and hard working host, poisondartfrog, in addition to giving her the cost of postage for the seeds she will mail to us. Now I am not so sure?
Thanks to everyone, this was great fun and a very inexpensive way to get a lot of unusual seeds.
