Name: Evan Pioneer Valley south, MA, USA (Zone 6a)
This is an Alocasia. The leaves are upright, not bent down like Jack's Giant. The mid-rib and veins are very prominent as well. The three most readily available large peltate leaved Alocasia it might be are A. odora, A. x calidora and A. gageana. I can't tell which but @LariAnn might.
Name: LariAnn Garner south Florida, USA When in doubt, do the cross!
Sue,
At this size, it is harder to determine if the plant is A. odora or A. x calidora. I'm leaning towards A. odora, though. I'm certain it is not A. gageana.
