I'm with you on the Den., Lindsey. I have had my "monster" for ten years at least, but never wanted another one because of her size and weight. I have now begun to dabble in the compact ones, and have a handful of those varieties. By the way, my Den. is getting ready to hit her stride. She is loaded with stems/buds. I tried to really cut her back in the fall, removing all sections that looked dividable. I think I ended up with 4 divisions. I cut back some of the old canes that I knew wouldn't flower again. I am still left with 4-6 canes that are 3' tall and that's where the flowering will be. She is in a greenhouse.

The reason it's so hard to lose weight when you get up in age is because your body and your fat have become good friends.
