We're pretty cold here. Bottomed out @ 32 this morning -- high today to be 50 then tonight they predict 26. I doubt it will drop quite that low. I'm predicting 28. Beautiful sunshine today! Sure is nice not to sweat.

Yup, been watching the weather news about the coming snows. Yuck. We need spring!!

It is so cold here that I didn't even go walking with my little dog either yesterday nor today. And usually we love to go walking. It had been mild but I guess that is over with.

Only a couple bees, it was chilly this morning and overcast most of the day, so I took what I could get.

I don't know why my brain works that way, but I have fun with it. Probably shouldn't let a psychiatrist evaluate my interpretations, though.

No photographs today, but if you look at this forecast, I probably will have opportunities in the next seven days. I can't imagine a better week for this area at the end of January.



Had a lengthy conversation with the inspector this morning. He called just as I sat down at the computer with my first coffee and I was barely coherent (he didn't call early, I slept longer than usual today). Warned him he might have to repeat some things until I became at least partially caffeinated. Slow, slow progress, but progress, nevertheless. He doesn't think the tornado damage repair will affect the pricing or quantity of contractor responses, which was a relief.

Also discovered he had been driving at the highway exchange where the tornado fatalities occurred not five minutes before the tornado went over the road. Big whew!!! Wasn't his time to go, thankfully.

Debra that's good news about the pricing for your renovations lucky man with the Tornado as you say not his time.

That dead bug looks like a Japanese Beetle. If that's the case, the only good bug is a dead bug (of the Japanese Beetle persuasion).

Yesterday was rainy in the morning, and grey and chilly all day. Staying in pajamas.

Today was cold for us with a stiff wind, but I did get out this afternoon to bin two Iris stalks against the overnight low temperature and took you all more Rose photographs. Roses and Lantana are all that are blooming right now and I will take them and be happy about them.





Think we need a funny, too.
