Had a brief thunderstorm at dawn, went out while still cloudy and got a few more Irises planted. Also pulled some Trailing Lavender Lantana that was trying to take over part of a bed and realized some of it had rooted, which came up when I pulled. Into a pot and the holding pen! Sun burned off the clouds by that time, but I feel content with what was accomplished today.
Song of Erin. Got this one for the name, but I am waiting for bloom to see if I will keep it. Photographs of it aren't all that attractive to me...now that I actually have the plant in hand.

Grand Canyon Gold. This one gives more four-fall blooms than most others. I know it is heresy to true Iris aficionados, but I like four fall blooms.
The second image is from the hybridizer.
Lunar Frost. I am SO looking forward to seeing the blooms on this one!
Jump Start. This one was in a holding bed and not doing well at all. Thought I'd lost it, then found a nub with a tiny green tip this morning. Up it came and into a pot so I can watch over it.
Po No Mo. Put this one in the niece/step-nephew memory bed. Might have to move it after bloom once I see how tall it gets, here. Good spot for it now, though.
