Some flowers out at the moment for you.
This is the lawn bowls club rink. It sits right on the sea. The views are to live for. The hippies I am after are in the left in the photo.

I think these are poinsettias.

The problem is that when you are young your life it is ruined by your parents. When you are older it is ruined by your children.

My favorite fall bloomer, Pineapple Sage, love the red tips. Also, my Mr. Optimist is blooming again, short but sweet (like me)

Deborah, I have not tried to over winter the pineapple sage, I will try to see if it would live to some frost, maybe mulch it some. These are 4 plants there, so they grow pretty tall.

Gorgeous plume. It looks more like a mass than a clump. I'll have to check it out. All of my Miscanthus clumps.

Pineapple sage overwintered here last winter, although it was a pretty mild winter. It came back bigger and better and SO many red flowers right now.

At times like this I am struck by zone envy. This will likely be the last time I have any "what's blooming" photos to post. Soon I will be putting the gardens to bed for the winter...ugh.

Some garden perennials -
Flower Carpet rose, which usually blooms until it snows and gets brighter in color as the temps go down (and zone 5, so it shouldn't even grow here!)

Another anomaly - Black Adder agastache, rated at zone 6, blooms from June until snow flies

Beautiful pix, does that dianthus usually rebloom in the fall? And is it fragrant? I think mine rebloomed one year when we got a lot of rain but normally no.

Judy, I have blooms on all of them in flushes for seven or eight months out of the year. Last year, the winter was so mild I had them almost continuously. Haven't noticed a fragrance, but I will check. Smiling

When I finally walked around the yard late yesterday, I noticed one of my dianthus had a new bloom on it. Totally not normally for me. My Autumn Circus iris still has reblooms and I see my Going Bananas daylily had new scapes! We'll see what happens in the next couple of days. Unfortunately my battery was dead and couldn't get pics.
