Hardly anything blooming here. There is one verbina that nearly dies mid August but has revived with the warm October.

Gorgeous Clint! Glad to see you posting again! Hurray! Hurray! Which bushes are the images from? I'm always wanting to add bushes with berries for the birds and winter interest.

These are called 'Berry Heavy,' 'Berry Heavy Gold,' and 'Winter Red'. I'm going to keep adding them. They are my favorite plants. They look good for such a long period of time when nothing else looks good. They have a dwarf one called 'Red Sprite' that's very good too.

It looks like they should do well in Zone 5b. I'm going to star your page and check these out next year. I really like where you have the red and gold planted close to each other. Well done! Hurray! Hurray!

Osmanthus Fragrans 'Fudingzhu' still putting on a show in this unseasonably cold weather. It will supposedly bloom near constantly, only stopping for a month or so at the height of summer and depth of winter. I've only had it since spring, but I can confirm that it bloomed constantly except for a break in August. Oh, and the flowers smell sweet, like apricot! Lovey dubby

Arlene, one year I actually did have a moonlight garden. It was really neat to see with all of the white flowers and things like dusty miller and other plants with silvery foliage. The white daisies would look like they were suspended in mid-air because the dark stems were not visible in the dark.

Going to reach 70 today, but cold front coming through this afternoon. Overnight lows expected to be somewhere between 16 and 24 degrees for the next three days, so most everything will be saying good night for the winter--these photographs are from a couple days back.

'Bouquet Purple' Dianthus // Scarlet Flax. No blooms, but showing lots of bright green.

Debra that is cold for you. We just came out of sub zero temps and wind chill.
