I'm finding out NOW they don't taste good!!! LOL! I paid a good amount of money for the seed. I will juice them till the seeds are gone.
My tomatoes just haven't done well this year. Too much rain at the wrong time. The ground never dried out so they are watery instead of flavorful.

Weedwhacker said:All of my "outside" tomatoes (those not in the hoophouse) have quickly progressing disease right now... I hope they can hang in there long enough to give us plenty of big tomatoes! Truly amazing how much better the ones in the HH look, especially since they (the Viva Italia plants) are the ones that were always the first to be overtaken by disease. Definitely a good argument for putting up the much bigger hoophouse that I want!

Hemlady said:My paste tomatoes were a total bust this year. Only picked about 2 all summer. Plants had a blight of some sort. Now, I am being overrun by fruit flies and they are destroying the remaining tomatoes on the vines.
