Julia, You know I'm a perfectionist! I'm already worrying that everything will go well. Am about finished with the hybridizing chapter from my book that will be used at the clinic. You will be the first to see it!

I'm verifying them today and will report back tomorrow. There are no losers. A couple are repeat requests from several of the clinic members.

OK kids, we have a menu for the banquet at Robert's Crossing.

Four entree choices:

Bone-in Pork chop
Chicken Saltimboca
Horseradish-encrusted Salmon
Seafood Fettucine Alfredo

I can vouch that ALL of them are just great. Only the Alfredo is not gluten-free.

Salad, soft drinks, coffee, tea and several scrumptious dessert choices including a new surprise one. Don't you like surprises.

You can check out the details of each entree on the Robert's Crossing website.

Is your mouth watering yet??

I am drooling.
Right now it is between these 3 for me:
Bone-in Pork chop
Horseradish-encrusted Salmon
Seafood Fettucine Alfredo

And right now the fruit crisp sound wonderful.

Mmm loved the chicken saltimboca and will have it again. Thumbs up I made it at home, not nearly as good.

Greg,

No they are going to assemble everything to order. That's why we're doing the salad first as that will be easy for them to assemble and get us started while our emtrees are being prepared. The chicken saltimbocca is a favorite of mine too and it's often what I choose when I can't decide.

The salmon selections change with the season, which was what I was waiting to know. They had a blackened salmon in the winter that was excellent but this is a bit lighter and very aromatic.

Now that I know the menu for dinner I will be supplying a very different lunch menu that I hope you will all enjoy too.

Are we hungry yet???

Lynn, There's always TRIPE! (Inside joke!)

I don't think there are any losers there at Robert's as I've had virtually everything on the menu. I tried to mix it up a bit but keep the cost down by not adding steak options. They are giving us the shed for free, which normally rents for $250 as a favor to me.

One other thing for those coming from close by is to bring a folding chair of some kind for my place. I have some but not 25.

Also check the Salem weather ahead of your trip. Spring can be fickle here. Today we are 82 F and it's definitely SHORTS weather but it could be rainy and cold. You are definitely going to see LOTS of iris blooming this year. I had predicted the Pacific Coast Natives would be at peak but I think they may be past if this weather keeps up. Sebright's should be stunning with all the irises in bloom and the hostas in prime condition.

Speaking of, I have contacted Thomas and it would be good if we could arrive there right at 1 PM on that Friday. That will give you a chance to grab a bite for lunch. I will meet you there. If you go to the Keizer exit and go into Keizer station there are all sorts of places for a quick bite. I'll be working on cooking for the Saturday buffet before. If you cross the I-5 from Keizer station and follow Hazel Green you will be very close to Sebright's. There are several signs directing you. If you get lost, take the I-5 to the BROOKS exit. Go into Brooks and take a right at the traffic signal. Yo will see signs to Sebright there too.

OK are you excited yet?

Kevin
