@valleylynn,
good to know that. I'll correct the main list.
By the way: At the end I'll give a small list with more cultivars available, which aren't on any wishlist. Maybe there are some friends who would like to have some of them, plus.
But this will come on the end of this project.

Wolfgang this is such a HUGE job. Thank You!
I had no idea that we can order multiple offsets. If this is true i would like 3 of all the varieties that i ordered that are available. I think others will be increasing their orders too i hope this is not as big a problem as it seems to me that it could be.
Hurray! Hurray! Hurray! I tip my hat to you.

Do I understand this correctly? If for example 3 offsets are requested, that simply means a quantity of 3 of that variety is requested. Right? Not a plant with 3 offsets attached.

Yeah, 1 offset seems a risky venture. If it doesn't survive, for whatever reason, you're out of luck.
I remember an earlier post quoting something like $10. per plant. I'm wondering if that's $10. Per offset? Blinking

Terri don't bite your nails, it would be painful. And you will need them to plant all those new semps. Big Grin

Do I understand corectly that because of the phytosanitary requirements, these offsets will come with the roots cut off? or is that just what one nursery does? I don't think any one would ship whole plants the size that I ship with multiple offsets. It would be too hard to get ALL the soil off the roots and to cut the roots off a 1yr+ plant would be very hazardous to its health.
Wolfgang I don't think you will have too much trouble selling the "extras"

Terri you have landed in crazytown. We are shipping live plants across several international borders. We have enough soil born diseases in this country already. The phytosanitary regulations try to prevent any more from coming in. Some live plant shipments have to stay in Quarintine areas for a year or more if the roots cannot be removed or properly cleaned or the plant is known to carry diseases. Yea they are planted in the quarentine area and grow there for up to 3 years being momitored for any signs of disease. At the end of the quarintine time , if they are still disease free you can have your plants. Usually those extremes are for things like apples or other fruit trees going into a sensitive area like Washington State. We are so fortunate to be participating in this purchase. Most nurseries do not want to take the extra time to prepare an order for international shipping and some nursery owners have to drive many miles just to get the certificate. Wolfgang is doing it all. It really is a huge gift for us and a huge lot of work for him.
The roots on the babies come back fairly quickly. You just have to be sure that they do not get too wet before they get the new roots. no nail biting ok. It's all good. Besides no one has confirmed yet that the roots will be removed.

Wolfgang does not cut the roots off, but thoroughly cleans them of all soil and debris. We have received healthy semps from England also, they do not cut the roots off.
It does entail a lot of extra work to do what Wolfgang is doing for us. But I think he is Superman. Big Grin

Thank you, Lynn. That's great news!
I get the risk, Jo Ann. I just had no idea that was even a consideration to remove plant roots.

Yikes, just did some checking, and apparently some people clean their plants and cut the roots off yearly! A bit in the extreme for me. My nerves couldn't take it. Rolling on the floor laughing

Whew, I've been without internet since right after my last post last night, it just came back!
I was really missing you all! Group hug
