We lost our Giggles & Grins, but I was able to order it from Dee's sale last year.
I hope this seedling blooms again next year.

That is a pretty seedling Lucy. What big fat fans leaves you get too! Maybe it is a heat thing, but mine are never that full.

Barbara, I agree. Got it from Dee's sale last year. It was a goldmine for dwarf irises. Smiling

Someone asked about putting them in the plant list. Only registered irises should be put there.

Neal, LOL, a friend of mine calls himself an iris slut....... he says as long as it has three standards and three falls he will follow it down any alley.

Gabe, I think Fancy Woman is a luminata. It is a rapidly growing color class of irises that are simply beautiful. Lucy tells us that when they first hybridized them they were called 'fancy irises'. They are still pretty fancy looking to me.

It is! Noticed it's in quite a few commercial crosses too. I have some good increases on it so maybe, if a bloom, I'll try a a cross with it. I guess she'll have to be the pod parent to inherit her dominance.
Gimme it and I'll grow it!

Iris nation seems to think the pod parent works more on the PLANT & the flower genetics especially comes from both parent. Unless no choice for example I would not use a poor grower like Starship Enterprise as a pod parent.
