No rain until Thurs. when we will be in the 0s. Below zero earlier this morning. our small snow cover (left over from the 3" snow fall) still protects the plants. Our reticulatas bloom in April.

I used to teach a story where a Native American grandfather wore a thong around his neck to hold a medicine bag. My students freaked out until I explained a thong was also a thin strip of leather.
