Thanks so much. Yes, Patch is NOT happy with the winter weather. He LOVES to be outdoors and usually spends a lot of time outside in the spring, summer, and fall. Right now it's been too cold and he doesn't stay out too long. He is content to sit under the front porch ( out of the wind ) and watch the birds and the deer for short periods during the day. He is really ... bored.

Lovely to look at, but I wouldn't want to live there. Needs to be well above 40 before I venture out

Hi Larry,

You definitely have a point. Hubby and I are seriously considering moving to Florida in a few years. We have one son and his family living in Port Charlotte, FL and our other son and his family are in NY - but he wants to relocate to Florida eventually, too.
If we had won the BIG Powerball we would have become snowbirds! lol

We got SLAMMED here in South central PA...32 inches of snow in 2 days. I've got drifts in my back yard as tall as I am (5'6"). Took 2 days to shovel out just the smaller part of our driveway where the truck is parked. We only had the road opened up late Sunday. Only finally got our driveway open late Monday afternoon (had a man with a big truck and plow push it open). Telephone only just now came back on. Power was out for 2-3 hours Saturday. So, Ok, Jane...what's the big idea sending YOUR weather down here to US??? *LOL*
I am not "country" I am "landed gentry."
