Hi Donald, @needrain, I just came across this thread.

There are a lot of AHS errors and since the registration details get imported to ATP, those errors get duplicated here. We can fix them right away. On AHS, it takes much longer.
When you find one and propose an edit, I get it in a queue and see it in a split screen, what it looks like currently and what your edit is.
If I have any questions, I contact the submitter for clarification in a t-mail and I encourage anyone to contact me if they have any questions or want to add more info for the reason they proposed an edit.
And I appreciate any help with solving some of these mysteries and getting this database in tip top form!!

Thanks for all the work. Of the four daylilies under discussion here, three appear to have been corrected. I think the image question on 'Lavender Tomorrow' may be a question that probably has to be resolved outside the parameters of the ATP database before it can be corrected. There it looks like the wrong plant is being distributed under the name IF the AHS photo is correct. That's probably a lot easier done that we'd like to think. When a plant is not in bloom, it's really easy to mix them up and may be a long time down the road before the mistake is discovered. That's why I 'borrow' a photo for my own use when I've ordered a plant. I have to wait until it blooms to see whether it's the correct cultivar or not. That can take from a few months or longer. If something gets distributed widely over a period of time, it's really hard to get it straightened out. The effort put into the ATP database shows and is appreciated.

Char did contact me about Lavender Tomorrow, I believe she was trying to contact Pat Stamile. There obviously is some kind of error there.

Actually, Julie C. said she was going to contact Pat when she posted the above on Feb. 18. I don't know if Pat was contacted about Lavender Tomorrow.

I did contact Pat and copied Debbie Monbeck when I emailed him. When he responded , Pat stated the picture in the DB looked like his picture but the color ( tint) was off! He did not send us another picture to use in its place, so at this point we are at an impasse. The picture of Lavender Tomorrow will remain as.
