I'm not sure if you ever ID'd these, but the first one above is almost certainly Hemerocallis fulva 'Kwanso'.

Your second one looks like 'Raspberry Pixie' for sure. Thumb of 2020-05-20/MrKGDickie/82eda2

Your last looks a lot like 'Ming Toy', although the throat on mine seems larger. I'd say if the stats (scape height, bloom size) match, that it's that.

I have several that I don't have names for. We moved and a friend who doesn't really have an interest in naming the plants gave several to me.

The one below I got from a Nursery in Conway, SC but some how did not get the name. The two gentlemen no longer open due to health issues.

@MrKGDickie I bought a bunch of daylilies at the Holly Hill Daylily Farm but they've been closed for years. If you go to the botanical garden in Chapel Hill they have several of the daylilies that Massey registered.

I've also purchased daylilies from Lakeview Daylilies in Garner and Marietta Daylily Gardens in Fairmont. I used to live in North Carolina for many years but have since moved back to NYC. I miss getting freshly dug daylilies. Sighing! Of course I don't necessarily miss the critters that come with them. One year it was a black widow spider!

YIKES! The worst I got with dug daylilies was some Bermuda grass lol.

I went to Lakeview in the dead of July last year. It was very overgrown, but there were so many amazing daylilies it wasn't hard to ignore the prodigious poison ivy and numerous trash trees. I believe Mr. Weston had gotten very ill and moved into a home in the spring, then passed away not long before my visit. That was right after I read about him and his farm and the part he played in getting beautiful daylilies planted along our interstates.

Anyway...I bought 14 cultivars at Lakeview, most of which were huge clumps. I had some issues with root rot (poor planting + lame pots + overwatering + too much rain), but I lost only one -- Persian Pattern.

Later, when Niche Gardens went out of business, I went there too. I bought 6 daylilies, among other things. I got one Holman-Massey there -- Southern Part of Heaven -- a creamy white. I didn't know, but that's the nickname for Chapel Hill. I also got a Peed-Neal-Massey called Mt. Pinatubo Embers -- it's a cool kind of brick red.

I badly need to update my records, because I believe I have a Weston on my list...maybe two. I definitely have a non-"Noel Weston" Weston on my wish list -- the very cool cultivar Bangwa. Someday. P.S. Maybe Judith Weston is related to the late Mr. Weston. If so, that's pretty cool!

Sorry for the epistle. I just love talking to people about this stuff, and my friends have just had it!

Kind of interesting that there is a daylily called Mt. Pinatubo Embers. I lived in the Philippines as teenager for 3 years at Clark Airbase. Where we lived on the base, we were literally on the slopes of Mt. P. We moved back to the states (Hawaii) just a few years before it blew up!

@MrKGDickie I may have to send you Mt. Pinatubo Sunset. I love that daylily but it isn't happy here. It's been four fans forever. I'd love to give it to someone in NC and who also has other Massey daylilies. I also have Holly Hill Blazer, Reward and Tangelo. I've had them for years and they are now clumps so if you ever want some just let me know.

I also have an unregistered Weston dayllily, Lakeview Pastel Lady. I need to check to see if I have any other Weston daylilies. I usually never pay much attention to hybridizers.

Oh, wow! That's a pretty amazing experience, although you may not have thought so at the time. I've been limited to MA and NC.

There are actually 4 daylilies named with the 'Mt Pinatubo' prefix, from a trip of hybridizers here in NC. I'm not certain why that prefix. There's also a 'Pinatubo' and a 'Mount Pinatubo', both by different hybridizers!

I'd be happy to give it a new home, if you can part with it. I was literally JUST oohing and aahing over its pics here in the NGA database. Drooling

It also will need a new home as it just doesn't seem to be doing much in my garden.

Diana,

Your lavender reminds me of Medieval Splendor or Kansas City Kicker.
