Not sure how it will do in Texas, but it's a real good rebloomer in Illinois

It's a great rebloomer in Cali too! Mine's about to bloom for Spring too.

I just went out there to check on something and another little one in a pot bloomed without me noticing.

Not an Iris.. but in the Iris family. This is a bulb from South Africa that's blooming in my garden. I know it as Homeria collina, but I see it's now Moraea (I really hate taxonomists).

Sherry, you are going to miss Tracy's Sunshine blooming? Someone is going to take photographs for you, I hope?

They keep changing the name for the 'Blackberry Lily' as well.

It's not Belamcanda anymore? I think I gave up when they renamed the whole Chrysanthemum family.. It was just too much.

Check the Joe Pye Weed site for changes, they grow them.

Dot, Furioso looks good enough to eat! Where did you acquire Furioso?

I cannot believe that I actually have a bloomstalk/bud on a TB on March 19th in Kentucky!!! It is, however, near the porch so somewhat protected. It is iris germanica I think. It is in the 40s and predicted to have 3 days below freezing coming up. We have had quite a few nice warm sunny days recently.


Daffodils are in full bloom and I have some tulips fully out.

I got Furioso directly from Barry Blyth many years ago when I used to order from him direct. It is hard to find. I used to sell some of mine but not anymore.

We're getting ready for yet another SNOW event here in New Jersey for tomorrow ....
so it will be another setback for all of my Iris again.
