I am on Pinterest and would like to pin some pictures from the database, but everytime I try, it doesn't work. I see pins with the database as a source frequently so there must be a way to do this.

I don't do Pinterest, but I am thinking someone on here would know how to do this?

Hi Charlotte, when I click to bring up a database photo, there is a small Pin it sign in the upper lefthand corner. I click it and select where I want to put it. It works well. If you're not seeing the pin icon, go into your profile and site preferences. I think there is a place to enable Pinterest and other social media groups.

Do you have a Pinterest account, Charlotte? I'm not sure, but maybe that is the only way you can pin anything. Making an account takes just a minute, and you can sign up in any name for an ID.

Interesting ... I don't see a "Pin It" sign anywhere when I click on a photo, whether copyrighted or not.

Have you gone into your profile to enable the social media icons? I think you have to do that first, and you should have a Pinterest account.

My social media icons are turned off so it has nothing to do with that.

What are you using, a tablet or IPad? I don't have the 'pin' button directly on the corner of each image on my IPad like I see on my laptop. There is a different way to pin them from an IPad. You have to download the app and it provides a widget to add an image to your Pinterest account, you do it from the upper right of your IPad. I would imagine it's a bit different on a tablet, it's also different on my cell phone.

I'm fairly challenged when it comes to technology. I do have my ATP preferences set to show Facebook and other social media widgets but I still don't see any icons on database photos to allow me to pin them to my Pinterest page. I don't have an Ipad but my laptop is a Mac so perhaps I need to download some Apple App to allow me to pin something from ATP?

I do have the Pinterest button in my toolbar, so if I don't see the Pin button on a photo, I can click it in the toolbar. You can add it here:

Lin, how do you usually pin things from other sites? I also have the P button in my toolbar but not sure how Mac works with Pinterest.

Sue, I haven't used Pinterest a lot but from what I remember, I'd see the little *Pin It* icon and used it to put something on my pinterest page. I have something at the very top of my laptop that says Tools but nothing pertaining to pinterest .... I'll have to play around a bit to see if I can figure it out.
